Job Duties:
* Plan and deliver engaging and effective MFL (Modern Foreign Languages) lessons to students
* Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing feedback to help them improve
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports students' language development
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching materials
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students' progress
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Demonstrated proficiency in at least one modern foreign language
Education:
* Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
* Previous experience teaching MFL in a secondary school setting
* Experience in lesson planning, assessment, and classroom management
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong organisational skills
* Confidence in classroom delivery
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Education or MFL
* Experience with exam board specifications and assessment criteria
Working Conditions:
* Full-time position with regular school hours
* Classroom-based teaching with some administrative responsibilities
