A growing tech startup is looking for a Python Software Engineer to join their engineering team and help build and improve a behavioural science platform used by consumer brands.
You’ll work closely with the Head of Engineering in a collaborative team, contributing across the platform and customer-facing product.
This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys varied engineering challenges and the opportunity to wear multiple hats in a startup environment.
Responsibilities
* Develop backend services and APIs using Python
* Contribute to the development of the core platform and product features
* Build and maintain services using Docker and AWS
* Work within a Linux‑first development environment
* Collaborate closely with the Head of Engineering on platform improvements
* Take ownership of problems and contribute across different areas of the product as needed

About You
* Around 4 years of software engineering experience
* Experience building APIs or backend services
* Comfortable working in Linux environments
* Familiar with AWS or cloud infrastructure
* Experience with Docker or containerised applications
* Enjoy working in small teams where engineers take ownership
