This role is ideal for candidates with teaching experience who may not hold QTS but have a strong background in English education and a desire to support students with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to the individual needs of students
* Support learners with a wide range of special educational needs in a nurturing environment
* Monitor and assess student progress, adapting lessons accordingly
* Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that promotes confidence and resilience
* Work closely with support staff, therapists, and families to ensure holistic development
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience teaching English, ideally within a SEN or alternative provision setting
* Strong subject knowledge and the ability to adapt teaching methods
