Our client is a leading specialist in security systems, operating within the commercial and industrial sectors throughout the UK. They are a well-established business that have traded in this sector very successfully for over 30 years. Through expansion they find themselves in need of a first-rate business development specialist/manager/ Sales Director to aid in developing this this exciting opportunity which will lead to further and consistent growth for the and the successful applicant.
What qualities will you need to be successful?
• Research, identify and target prospective customers and new business opportunities including tenders and large contracts.
• Analyse sales data, forecast trends, and report regularly to the Directors.
• Design CCTV, Fire, Intruder and Access Control in line with customer requirements and NSI regulations.
• Achieve and exceed monthly / annual targets for installation order value, gross margin, and recurring revenue.
• Build a sales pipeline to support the Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly targets for growth, meeting monthly sales KPI's.
• Responsible for ensuring sales compliance and best practice in relation to the sales process and client experience.
• Answer urgent queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Liaising with Supply Chain for quotes by email and phone.
• Working accurately with dimensions from technical drawings.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of security solutions.
• Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.
