The role:
We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Communications and Marketing Officer to join the team for a three-month contract.
Experience in media relations and PR is essential for this role as well as Strategy and Governance.
Key responsibilities:
Lead proactive media outreach and build strong relationships to secure high impact coverage across key titles
Research, write and edit engaging press releases, articles and media content that tell the organisation's story in a fresh and creative way
Ensure consistent and compelling messaging across all channels, with a focus on updating content on the website and intranet
Work with internal teams and partner organisations to produce impactful case studies that demonstrate the impact of the Trust's work
What the client is looking for:
Experience in media relations and PR
Strategy and governance knowledge
Strong communication skills
Excellent writing and editing skills with experience of crafting compelling stories, press releases and materials that resonate with target audiences
Digital media proficiency including familiarity with social media platforms, intranet platforms and websites
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and partners to deliver effective communications campaigns
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
