We are looking for a talented Indirect Tax Manager to join our European team for our Corporate Business in Huddersfield, United Kingdom
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
1. Lead the monthly VAT compliance process for all UK & European entities within CDBS, ensuring timely, accurate filings and strong partnerships with external providers.
2. Oversee all UK VAT compliance obligations across Cummins, strengthening the companys indirect tax governance and risk management.
3. Serve as the primary contact for the UK tax authority, confidently managing audits, disclosures, and the Senior Accounting Officer compliance process.
4. Provide expert indirect tax guidance to the business, solving complex VAT and supply chain challenges with clarity and precision.
5. Interpret and apply emerging tax regulations to advise on corporate impacts and maintain compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
6. Manage tax audits and ensure effective communication with tax authorities, reducing exposure and improving compliance outcomes.
7. Mentor and guide tax accountants, allocating work based on strengths and development needs while building team capability.
