Position
We are looking for a Trainee Hatchery Planner
Responsibilities
* Work out the number of eggs needed per shed leaving the required number of chicks after hatch.
* Managing/Loading transport for both Nestborn deliveries and hatching egg collections.
* Being able to run a small team of staff to meet their full potential.
* Working closely with the hatchery manager to achieve the best performance from the hatchery.
* Aiding Daily operations when needed.
* Support Hatchery operatives In the Hatchery, Moving trolleys etc.
* Cover absence of assistant hatchery manager.
* Arrange movements from site to farm.
* Aiding with daily/weekly plan for eggs.
Skills Needed
* GCSE (Maths and English)
* Driving licence
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Flexible working ability.
Requirements, Experience and Person Specification
* Group and site induction.
* All relevant risk assessments and safe working procedures are reviewed and to current methods.
* Hazards and near miss reporting training.
