Job responsibilities
To take a leading role in staff development and training as required.Will conduct Appraisals with the other Band 7 physiologist for other members of the Department.To initiate and participate in clinical audit within the department and to use the results to improve quality of service.To be a specialist in echocardiography, etc. to develop competence in clinical supervision and be able to act as clinical supervisor where necessary.

* Qualifications, years experience
* Membership to professional body acquired by examination either
* Highly developed specialist knowledge underpinned by theory and in-depth experience in technical
* Relevant accredited courses Masters in Echocardiograph
* Able to draw upon a broad range of clinical knowledge
* Knowledge of at least two disciplines of technical Cardiology acquired with proven experience.
* 1- 2 years post BSE Accreditatio
* 3 years' experience at a Senior level of independent practice
* Training and assessment Experience of performing other test relevant to the departmen
* Experience of supervision of junior staff
* To be able to perform; analyse and produce formal reports on a range of diagnostic tests independently
* Teaching of the team of junior physiologist
