Our client are an international life sciences organisation, providing specialist analytical testing and consultancy services across multiple industries including food, pharma, environmental, and chemicals. They partner with some of the world’s largest companies to make life and our environment safer, healthier, and more sustainable.
In this position you will be tasked with driving our clients’ growth in the Chemicals sector, with a particular focus on detergents and biocides. Working from your home-office, you will be responsible for identifying leads, building relationships, and securing laboratory and consultancy services across the UK. This role offers independence and autonomy in your market, with full technical support from our client’s global network of laboratories.
Your goal is to expand revenue and strengthen our client’s position as a trusted partner in analytical and consultancy solutions.

Responsibilities
* Securing new opportunities through conferences, networking, client visits, and lead generation.
* Responding to client enquiries and promoting the full range of laboratory services.
* Preparing and presenting tailored proposals.
* Negotiating contracts, including pricing, delivery, and timeframes.
* Developing and implementing account strategies to maximise long-term opportunities.
* Reporting on account activity, market trends, and business development progress.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Sales professional with strong technical and commercial knowledge of the Chemicals sector (detergents and biocides desirable). You will combine excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work independently, while also collaborating across a global business.
