Managing Director
The Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre was the largest sport new-build for the 2015 Toronto Pan Am Games and the largest infrastructure investment in Canadian amateur sport history. The Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre now delivers extensive programming that serves recreational and community groups, high performance athletes, as well as fitness centre clientele.
The Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre (TPASC) is co-owned by the City of Toronto and the University of Toronto.
The Managing Director is responsible to the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre Board of Directors for all aspects of the organization including strategic planning, internal organization, human resources and financial management. They are responsible for developing and maintaining multi-year business plans based on the delivery of high-quality services within the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre.
The ideal candidate will bring a track record of providing strategic leadership and vision, possibly to a multi-dimensional organization focused on recreation and sport. They will bring experience leading a significant and multi-faceted organization with a proven ability to ensure financial stability and seamless operations. The ideal candidate with have successfully developed operating and capital budgets, and managed complex capital projects.
The Managing Director will be passionate about enhancing access to, and engagement in, physical activity, sport and recreation to local communities and beyond.
