We are expanding our security and resilience team within the CISO office. Over the last few years, we have been on a continuous improvement journey and are looking to expand our Security Engineering team further. With a team of nearly 30 professionals, this new role will enhance our capabilities in combating the ever-evolving cyber threat landscape.
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic IAM Engineer to join our Security Engineering team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the security infrastructure that protects our organisation from various threats.
As a Cyber Security Identity Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of security technologies that protect the organisation from a wide range of threats, internal and external. In addition to supporting the development and implementation of security systems and controls, you will be responsible for monitoring, managing, and maintaining the security infrastructure, thereby playing a crucial role in safeguarding the organisation's data, assets, and overall cybersecurity posture. About the role
Work as technical resource on initiatives to implement new cybersecurity controls.
Provide support for cyber technologies, ensuring robust technical controls to protect the organization from threats.
Maintain system uptime and availability, ensuring no unplanned outages due to cyber technologies.
Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement of our cyber technologies to enhance our controls.
Maintain disaster recovery procedures and provide technical support for disaster recovery tests.
Produce and maintain technical documentation related to security technologies.
Stay updated with industry best practices by attending security-related events and subscribing to cyber-related podcasts and papers.
Manage risk and compliance effectively, ensuring adherence to internal policies and procedures.
Remain up to date on the latest cyber technologies and threat landscapes.
About you
We are seeking a SailPoint ISC Identity Engineer with strong expertise in managing and securing user identities, permissions, and access within the SailPoint ISC ecosystem. You will bring hands-on experience with leading cybersecurity platforms and technologies, including:
Deep understanding of SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC):
Understanding/ Ability to configure Lifecycle Management (JML)
Help with the design and architecture of SailPoint ISC implementations across enterprise environments
Develop and manage workflows for cloud and on prem implementations
Implement RBAC solutions alongside Access Request policies and using certification campaigns
Integrate and maintain applications using REST API's, JDBC, SCIM, LDAP and custom connectors
Develop and troubleshoot provisioning rules, transforms and identity mappings
Implement SoD's and ensure least privilege and zero trust architecture
Including security practices and technologies like:
Implementing monitoring, alerting and proactive issue detection
Password policy enforcement
Token-based authentication
Championing automation to reduce manual access administration
Driving IAM operational excellence continuous improvement
Advising stakeholders on identity governance and best practices
Partake in audit events and compliance
You are hands on experience with cloud platforms such as AD, AWS, SuccessFactors etc.
You have experience with ticketing platforms like ServiceNow.
You have a strong analytical and methodical approach to solving technical challenges.
You possess a high level of accuracy and a dedicated work ethic.
You have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, along with effective communication and presentation abilities.
You have worked within a regulated environment in the financial services industry.
You stay updated with industry best practices by attending security-related events and subscribing to cyber-related podcasts and papers.
You can produce and maintain technical documentation related to security technologies.
You maintain composure and professionalism in pressurised and uncertain situations.
You take personal responsibility for self-development.
You continually analyse and evaluate own performance to identify areas for improvement.
You have hands on experience in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
Security qualifications such as CompTIA Security+ are preferred but not required.
