Funeral Plan Coordinator Role

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in people's lives by helping them plan and say goodbye to their loved ones. As a Funeral Plan Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for funeral plans, delivering exceptional client experience and supporting colleagues with any enquiries or sales.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide expert guidance on funeral plans, ensuring clients understand their options and can plan a perfect service.
* Deliver a consistent client experience by following structured wording while connecting personally with each client.
* Manage your own diary, making and receiving calls, and arranging visits as needed. This may also involve pre-populated appointments through future technology advancements.
* Proactively follow up on all funeral plan enquiries in a timely manner.
* Keep accurate records in line with policies and regulations, managing client documentation safely and discreetly.
* Work closely with branch teams, providing guidance on introducing funeral plans in at-need conversations and supporting with admin work when required.
* Champion Co-op's broader life services opportunities, ensuring clients are aware of how we can support with other life planning needs.
* Seek opportunities to engage with the local community, promoting Co-op Funeralcare and its values.

Requirements:

* A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with clients, colleagues, and the local community.
* A keen eye for detail and accuracy, ensuring regulatory policies and processes are always adhered to.
* Excellent admin and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage your diary.
* High levels of empathy, discretion, and care, with strong listening skills and the ability to understand client needs.
* A passion for delivering great service and providing good outcomes for clients.
* An interest in continuous learning and professional development.
