The Remuneration Platform team is committed to ensuring the ongoing suitability and performance of the organisation’s remuneration system. Working closely with the Partner Remuneration team, we guarantee timely and accurate payments to partners while managing all calculations, fee inputs, and transactional data. In addition, we focus on optimising downstream data feeds and maintaining seamless integration with other platforms and providers to enhance efficiency and reliability across the remuneration process
The Remuneration Systems Analyst will support the day to day running and development of the Remuneration System and be responsible for handling escalations and representing the team to the wider SJP community. The role holder will represent the team at change forums, project initiations, and downstream system impact reviews and should be a knowledgeable remuneration subject matter expert with strong attention to detail, excellent analytical and logical skills, and proficiency in data management.
What you’ll be doing
1. Triaging faults on daily basis and ensuring they are dealt with in an effective manner without supervision and initiating corrective action, including root cause analysis.
2. Developing complex back-end configuration changes for implementation on the Optymyze system
3. Preparing test scripts and undertaking testing to support change activity.
4. Acting as an SME for the Remuneration System; providing both technical knowledge to business users and business knowledge to third-party developers and testers.
5. Gathering and writing business requirements in the form of User Stories and reviewing these critically for system feasibility and business benefit, whilst managing multiple stakeholders.
6. Representing the Remuneration Systems Team at change forums and other wider SJP communities as required.
7. Managing the testing of the Optymyze releases by ensuring test environments are available, creating and managing the test plan and ensuring regression packs are up to date and fit for purpose.
8. Managing major incidents, liaising with IT and other departments and functions to ensure notification and escalation is carried out to minimize impact.
Who we’re looking for:
We’re looking for a collaborative professional, with the ability to build strong relationship, and ensure a high level of service are delivered. We’re also looking for someone with strong stakeholder management capabilities alongside expertise in user acceptance testing (UAT) and regression testing.
Essential Criteria:
9. Experience working in business or data analysis with strong problem-solving skills.
10. Experience running and developing operational systems and processes.
11. Proven experience with technical relationship management and third-party management either internally or externally.
12. Proven experience working effectively as part of a team and being able to work with the wider SJP group.
Desirable Criteria:
13. Experience of project methodology and platform development lifecycle.
14. Experience with techniques such as Business Process Modelling and Requirements Engineering
15. Knowledge of Remuneration Processes, Systems and Optymyze
