We are a successful security company specialising in Security / Access Control Systems for some of the UK's largest Utility companies. We seek an ambitious Project Manager to help develop the business during an exciting phase of growth.

Essential Competencies
* Project managing contracts
* Holding relevant FISS/CSCS certificates
* CITB SMSTS qualification
* Demonstrating estimating skills
* Knowledge of fence types, Electrical Fencing Systems, CCTV and Access Control Systems
* Knowledge of gate automation
* Fabrication knowledge in relation to fences and gates
* Good working knowledge of NEC3 contracts
* Experience in man‑management skills
* Knowledge of sub‑contracting procedures and practices
* Health & Safety qualification
Role & Responsibilities
* Project manage contracts
* Estimating and quotes
* Monthly reporting to the MD & Contracts Director on contract progression / updates
* Manage applications for payments
* Customer contact (new & ongoing)
* Site set‑up and management
* Liaison with site staff
* Method Statement preparation
* Risk assessment preparation
* Site Health & Safety
* Health & Safety site inspections
* Ensure quality control and test inspection documents are completed as per planned timescales
* Promote good practice of material sustainability (reuse and/or recycle) initiatives to reduce waste and save costs
* Ensure contractors’ operatives are competent, qualified and licensed; ensure plant and equipment is tested, maintained and certified as specified
* Ensure all checks confirm that installed services and equipment comply with the contract documentation
* Record and report defective materials and substandard quality/workmanship that do not meet the works specification
* Determine and assess the need for additional staff and resources
* Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify project risks and devise contingency plans
* Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management
