Contract Manager National ContractThe RoleWe are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to lead multi-site soft services operations across a diverse portfolio. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality services, maintaining strong client relationships, and driving commercial performance across contracts.You will act as the primary client interface, ensuring service excellence, contractual compliance, and continuous improvement while managing operational teams across multiple locations.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day delivery of soft services contracts across multiple sitesBuild and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients and key stakeholdersTake full commercial ownership of contracts, including P&L responsibility, budgeting, forecasting, and cost controlIdentify and deliver commercial opportunities, efficiencies, and service enhancementsEnsure compliance with contractual KPIs, SLAs, health & safety, and statutory requirementsLead, develop, and motivate on-site management teams to drive performance and engagementManage contract reviews, client meetings, and performance reportingSupport mobilisations, demobilisations, and contract retention activityHandle escalations professionally and proactively, ensuring swift resolutionAbout YouProven experience as a Contract Manager (or similar) within soft services FMAt least five years' experience delivering in similar rolesDemonstrated success managing multi-site operationsStrong commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets and driving profitabilityConfident client-facing professional with excellent relationship management skillsStrong leadership capability with the ability to influence and engage teamsHighly organised, resilient, and solutions-focusedExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environmentFlexible time management and ability to prioritiseDesirableIOSH / NEBOSH or equivalent H&S qualificationExperience working with public or private sector clientsFM-related professional qualification What We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits packageCareer development and progression opportunitiesA supportive and collaborative working environmentThe opportunity to manage high-profile, multi-site contractsCompass Group UK&I is committed to fostering an environment where every individual can truly be themselves at work and has equal opportunities to advance in their careers.
