Salary: £41,000 - 81,000 per year Requirements: We require SC Clearance. We require strong experience deploying, configuring, and managing Dynatrace, Grafana, or Splunk to monitor applications, services, servers, networks, and cloud resources. We require proficiency in collecting, processing, and analysing telemetry signals, including metrics, logs, traces, and events. We require the ability to analyse telemetry data to identify performance bottlenecks, availability risks, and system anomalies. We require experience integrating Dynatrace, Grafana, or Splunk with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and CI/CD pipelines. We require strong problem-solving skills and a systematic approach to diagnosing complex technical issues. We require strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify patterns, and draw actionable conclusions. We require experience supporting incident response activities and postmortem analysis using Dynatrace, Grafana, or similar tools. We require the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues promptly, ensuring data integrity and reliability. We require experience with scripting tools such as Python and PowerShell, as well as CI/CD tools for automation. We require good experience using cloud solutions such as Azure and AWS, and containerized environments such as Kubernetes and OpenShift. We require good knowledge of ITSM and incident management tool integration. We require the ability to interact with and influence colleagues and maintain working-level contact with customers. We require a methodical approach to issue definition and resolution. We require effective application of technical knowledge in day-to-day work. We require a commitment to developing our own knowledge and applying it in our work. We require fluent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present information to technical and non-technical audiences. We prefer Dynatrace Associate and Pro Certifications. We prefer Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate. We prefer Splunk Core Certified Power User. Desirable: experience in cloud platforms, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering. Desirable: experience with container-native technologies and ecosystem tools. Desirable: ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing business needs. Desirable: knowledge of automation and DevOps practices. Desirable: experience using Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning. Desirable: experience building CI/CD pipelines for data engineering applications. Desirable: experience using Docker and Kubernetes to package and deploy data engineering workloads. Responsibilities: We deploy, configure, and manage observability platforms such as Dynatrace, Grafana, or Splunk. We monitor applications, services, servers, networks, and cloud resources. We collect, process, and analyse telemetry data across metrics, logs, traces, and events. We investigate performance bottlenecks, availability risks, and system anomalies. We integrate observability tools with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow and with CI/CD pipelines for proactive monitoring. We support incident response activities and postmortem analysis. We troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues to maintain integrity and reliability. We use scripting and automation to improve operational efficiency. We work with Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, and OpenShift to implement cloud-native monitoring. We collaborate with colleagues and maintain working-level contact with customers. We communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences. We apply a methodical approach to issue definition and resolution. We continue developing our own knowledge and apply it in our work. This is a contract role from 1st June 2026 to 1st December 2026, working 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a day rate of £485 via a Hays approved umbrella company.
