Section: Heating Audits Designation: Field Supervisor with company provided van Location: South West England & West Midlands Main Purpose of the Role To lead and manage a diverse team delivering comprehensive client services relating to the planning, inspection, and reporting of client installations, ensuring service excellence and client satisfaction. To oversee the inspection management process for all client requests. To manage and deliver regular desktop and on-site audits to ensure quality standards are met and continuously improved. To ensure PCM complies with its legal duties as an employer and in relation to all PCM products and services. To ensure compliance with all relevant legislation applicable to works undertaken. Summary of Responsibilities & Personal Duties Advise the Head of Gas on operational and technical matters within the scope of the service, contributing to the formulation of company objectives and policies. Take full accountability for decisions within your area of responsibility. Manage the technical and planning aspects of allocated projects. Set, monitor, and achieve performance targets and standards, reporting progress as required. Ensure all works are effectively managed from initiation to final account, with full compliance to Health & Safety legislation and statutory requirements. Maintain effective communication and liaison with internal and external stakeholders to ensure service development aligns with client needs. Ensure operational continuity during staff absences (annual leave, sickness, etc.). Key Responsibilities and Duties Office Duties Investigate and resolve concerns raised within the team, reporting findings and actions to the Head of Gas. Take ownership of Auditor performance within the section, ensuring measurable quarter-on-quarter improvement. Develop and implement tools and processes to enhance service delivery to PCMs clients. Lead initiatives to reduce no access visits across client contracts. Conduct regular formal team meetings, ensuring minutes are recorded and shared with the Head of Gas. Monitor team performance and implement corrective measures where necessary to achieve required standards. Contract Duties Take ownership of service delivery within the section. Ensure sufficient workflow volumes are received via the planning team to meet contractual targets. Manage a team with varying skill sets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to meet client requirements efficiently. Provide technical advice and guidance to the Companys team of Auditors. Investigate and respond to complaints in a timely and professional manner. Undertake any other duties within the scope of the post as required.
