Payroll Officer
Reporting directly to Finance Director
Job Description:
* Calculate weekly hours and enter them into the payroll spreadsheets.
· Run end-to-end payroll weekly and monthly processes for circa 150 people
* Resolve payroll discrepancies by investigating inconsistencies and liaising with stakeholders.
* Processing sickness, holidays & P45's.
* HMRC reporting procedures.
* Pension processing.
* Responding to staff regarding payroll queries.
* Any other reasonable responsibilities required to deliver the role.
The Person
Skills and Experience:
* Experience working in a payroll role.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Competent in the use of Excel.
* Experience using Sage payroll software.
* Ability to interrogate data and ask the relevant questions.
* Excellent communication skills.
