About the Role

We’re looking for a highly motivated Administrator to join our dedicated Children’s Education Service. This is more than just an admin role—you’ll be at the heart of our centre, supporting young people, families, and staff to ensure everything runs smoothly, professionally, and compassionately.

What You’ll Be Doing
Core Administration
1. Deliver efficient, confidential, and high-quality admin support across the service
2. Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is secure and up to date
3. Support colleagues across teams and respond flexibly to urgent requests
4. Contribute to a safe, compliant, and well-organised working environment
Front of House & Reception
5. Be the first point of contact, welcoming visitors and handling calls professionally
6. Manage meeting rooms, diaries, and office facilities
7. Handle post, deliveries, and maintain a professional reception area
8. Oversee site access, including visitor ID checks and door systems
Referrals & Service Coordination
9. Coordinate referrals, assessments, admissions, and reviews
10. Liaise with families, carers, and external professionals
11. Maintain accurate records for young people and ensure compliance with regulations
12. Support inspections and regulatory reporting processes
Exams & Education Support
13. Take ownership of the exams process (GCSEs, BTECs, etc.)
14. Manage exam entries, timetables, and communications with exam boards
15. Ensure full compliance with exam regulations and procedures
16. Support staff and students through key academic milestones
HR & People Support
17. Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and staff records
18. Monitor attendance, training, and HR data
19. Provide first-line guidance on policies and procedures
20. Support managers with HR processes and reporting
Facilities & Finance
21. Coordinate maintenance and manage equipment records
22. Support financial processes including petty cash, invoices, and budgets
23. Ensure compliance with company policies in all financial activities
We’re looking for someone who is:
24. GCSE Minimum Level 4 in English & Math's
25. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
26. A confident communicator with a professional manner
27. Able to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
28. Discreet and trustworthy with confidential information
29. Proactive, flexible, and solution-focused
30. Comfortable using IT systems and databases
Experience in education, care, or a regulated environment is a plus—but not essential.
