Oxford City Council’s Environmental Sustainability (ES) Team accelerates work towards Climate Goals particularly environmental improvements, climate justice, emission reductions, air quality and recycling improvements, by working with and for our partners across the City Council and stakeholders in and around the City of Oxford.
We are looking for a dynamic, creative engagement manager with a strong strategic focus to help the council develop a Climate Engagement Strategy to help support the city to reach our climate goals. Someone who can galvanise groups across our communities, businesses, and wider council colleagues to inspire action to address climate change.
You will have strategic oversight of multiple workstreams and will develop and lead project work and engagement initiatives with partners, key stakeholders and the public.
You will already have strong stakeholder management and use your proven experience in engagement activities to reach Oxford’s diverse groups to address the impact of climate change in their communities and businesses and work with the council’s Environmental Sustainability (ES) comms teams and other key stakeholders to ensure that our projects have optimum impact.
