KS1 Specialist Teacher – Permanent (ASAP Start)
We are pleased to be recruiting a KS1 Specialist Teacher to join our three-form entry primary school in Bexley on a permanent basis, starting as soon as possible.
Our school is a vibrant, inclusive learning community where children are encouraged to develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work within a strong and supportive Key Stage 1 team, alongside experienced colleagues and a committed leadership team.
About the Role
The successful candidate will:
1. Teach within Key Stage 1, delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the UK National Curriculum
2. Create a positive, nurturing, and well-structured classroom environment
3. Support pupils’ early development in reading, writing, and mathematics
4. Work collaboratively with year-group colleagues and support staff
5. Contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school

6. Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)- Essential
7. Has strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and effective classroom practice
8. Has high expectations for pupil progress, behaviour, and wellbeing

10. Works well as part of a team and values collaboration
