Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented System Analyst and EUC Administrator to join our IT team in the UK. This dual-role position is key to ensuring that our business systems function optimally and that our end users have a secure, efficient, and well-maintained computing environment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in analysing business requirements, managing EUC solutions, and providing technical support to ensure the reliability and performance of IT systems.4
Skills and Experience:
Proven experience as a Systems Analyst and/or EUC Administrator in a medium to large enterprise.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
Experience with endpoint management tools (e.g., Intune, SCCM, JAMF).
Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Jira Service Desk.
Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
Experience with application packaging and deployment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Experience with Citrix, VMware Horizon, or other VDI solutions.
Scripting knowledge (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
Understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
ITIL Foundation certification or experience working in an ITIL-based environment.
Experience in compliance and audit reporting (ISO27001, GDPR).
Requirements
System Analysis:
Gather and analyse business requirements from stakeholders to improve system functionality and user experience.
Document system specifications, use cases, and workflows.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other IT teams to ensure successful solution implementation.
Monitor and evaluate existing systems to identify improvement opportunities.
Conduct system testing and validation procedures.
Develop and maintain technical documentation and user manuals.
Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users.
EUC Administration:
Manage and support all End-User Computing platforms including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, virtual desktops (VDI), and remote access solutions.
Configure, deploy, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and security patches.
Administer Microsoft 365 suite including Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Exchange Online.
Manage and maintain endpoint security solutions (e.g., antivirus, encryption, mobile device management).
Implement and monitor compliance with corporate IT policies and standards.
Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for EUC-related incidents and service requests.
Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets through ITSM/CMDB tools.
