Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer Site Location: Templecombe Primary Purpose of the Role: Responsible for supporting, configuring and building Systems IT infrastructures, installation on a variety of projects across the business. Responsibility: Implementation, maintenance, optimisation and support of customer's systems supplied and supported by Thales. Required hardware and software core elements: Microsoft and RHEL Servers - physical and virtual Microsoft Windows 10/11 client Hypervisor technology Scripting - Powershell, Configuration as Code - Ansible - DSC Server and client operating systems configuration Microsoft Active Directory Group Policies SCCM, MECM and WSUS Windows and A/V generic updates Providing 3rd level support and mentoring 2nd/1st line support teams Alignment with third-party vendors and their applicable software and hardware Experience: Minimum 3 years relevant IT hands-on experience Networking hands on experience and desire to upskill Experience of and a strong understanding of IT security Experience of multi-site organisation Ideally currently SC Cleared Key Competencies: Willingness and flexibility to support activities at other Thales sites worldwide.
