The Company
We’re working with a creative agency with a strong reputation for brand, digital and design work. They’re expanding their digital team and are on the lookout for a Midweight - Senior Developer to join them in Sheffield. Collaboration is at the heart of how they work - expect to work across Luxury Hospitality, High-end Residential, and much more. This is a fully onsite role to encourage teamwork and collaboration.
The Role
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for both front-end and back-end development. You’ll take projects from concept through to launch, working closely with designers and liaising directly with clients. Alongside building new websites, you’ll also support existing clients with updates, bug fixes and feature development.
Responsibilities
* Build and maintain websites from the ground up
* Collaborate with designers and strategy teams to create seamless user experiences
* Communicate directly with clients to gather requirements and provide updates
* Test, maintain and optimise code for performance and usability
Software & Experience
4+ years’ relevant development experience
Software/Tools:
* PHP
* MySQL
* HTML
* JavaScript (jQuery)
* CSS (SCSS & Tailwind)
* Git (version control)
Nice-to-haves:
* WordPress or Shopify
* Modern JS frameworks
* Figma
* SEO knowledge
* Linux server knowledge
* Previous agency experience
