Inclusion Support Assistant Opportunities – Ferryhill
A welcoming SEMH provision in Ferryhill is looking to appoint caring and motivated Inclusion Support Assistants for the upcoming academic year.
This specialist setting supports pupils who benefit from additional behavioural, emotional and educational guidance. The team is committed to creating an environment where every pupil feels safe, respected and capable of success.
Responsibilities Include
* Supporting pupils throughout the school day
* Delivering targeted interventions
* Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
* Assisting during transitions and social times
* Collaborating with teaching and pastoral staff
* Monitoring pupil development and progress
Requirements
* Previous experience supporting children or young people
* Positive and proactive attitude
* Strong relationship-building skills
* Ability to stay calm under pressure
* Genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
