We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to work within a busy manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced production environment, requiring attention to detail and reliability.
Successful candidates will be responsible for monitoring machinery, ensuring product quality, and supporting wider production operations as required.
Hourly rate: £12.21 per hour
– First 12 weeks. £15.12 per hour
– After 12 weeks.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Thursday:
9:40pm – 5:50am Friday:
5:00pm – 10:50pm
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Starting, stopping, and monitoring machines throughout production runs Observing machine operation to detect faults. Removing moulded components safely and checking for defects. Conducting visual quality inspections on moulded parts during and after production Reporting equipment faults, material issues, or tooling problems to supervisors promptly Maintaining a clean and safe workstation in line with health & safety procedures Setting up and operating injection moulding machines according to production schedules Loading materials onto the machinery.
Additional Duties May Include: Carrying out visual inspections to ensure parts meet quality standards. Trimming excess plastic from moulded components. Assembling small plastic components. Working to production targets in a fast-paced environment Operating a small bushing press to insert metal bushes/fixings Inspecting finished parts and recording production volumes Packing finished goods.
