Senior Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (Neuro Rehabilitation)
Permanent, 30 hours per week
Salary: £47,810 - £54,710 (FTE) per annum DOE
Located in Horsham
We are looking to recruit a Senior Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, who wants to develop their experience by working in our client's highly regarded service in Horsham on a permanent basis.
You'll be based onsite at their neuro centre in Horsham that delivers specialist neuro rehabilitation to adults with an ABI in a residential setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate independently as a Speech and Language Therapist within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
* Evaluate how an individual's communication abilities affect their everyday activities and deliver targeted interventions accordingly.
* Collaborate with individuals and their support networks to identify challenges and develop practical solutions.
* Conduct communication assessments, formulate management and rehabilitation plans, and refer for specialist evaluations when needed.
Requirements:
* The successful applicant will have a Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
* Registered with the HCPC.
* Able to manage complex dysphagia within an adult neurology caseload
* Minimum 4 years qualified experience encompassing complex case management
* Specialist knowledge of SaLT models and interventions in ABI e.g. social communication, cognitive communication, communication partner training.
