We are searching for a talented Teacher with QTS to join a dynamic, innovative educational setting that puts curiosity, creativity and personal growth at the centre of every day. Supporting learners aged 7 to 16, you will be part of a forward-thinking team working to remove barriers to learning and help pupils rediscover confidence, routine and academic ambition.
The school offers a diverse blend of academic and vocational pathways across KS3 and KS4, creating opportunities for students to work toward qualifications such as GCSEs, BTECs and other accredited routes. Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver personalised lessons across KS3 and KS4 (including GCSE, Functional Skills and vocational content)
* Implement supportive, trauma-aware strategies that reduce anxiety and promote participation
* Create engaging, achievable learning journeys that build confidence
* Monitor academic and emotional progress, maintaining accurate and meaningful records
* Provide clear, constructive feedback to help pupils reflect and progress
* Work collaboratively with support staff, pastoral teams and external professionals
* Maintain strong communication with families and contribute to reviews and planning meetings
* Support both academic and pastoral development as part of a holistic approach

What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
* Strong understanding of learners who face engagement barriers, anxiety or disrupted education
* Confident in adapting curriculum plans to individual profiles
* Calm, thoughtful and resilient when supporting learners with varying needs
* Able to travel independently – driving licence required due to location
* Excellent communication, organisation and the ability to work independently when required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
