Graduate Teaching Jobs / Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistants and Tutors needed
Starting: ASAP or Sept 2025
Roles are varied, offering a learning process where you will work with 5 / 6 students with needs ranging from mainstream:
Autism, Dyslexia, Speech and Language Needs, Behaviour Needs, ADHD, Selective Mutism, and more, in a mainstream setting.
We are seeking responsible, positive role models who want to learn, grow, and develop pedagogical skills while building rapport with students, teachers, and parents.
What does the Teaching Assistant role involve:
· Working in the Learning Support / SEND Department of a secondary school
· Supporting the class teacher and students during lessons
· Building rapport with 5 – 6 students with specific needs and implementing strategies to support, nurture, engage, and raise attainment in their secondary years
· 1:1 sessions supporting in your subject speciality
· Running intervention groups in your subject area to build their knowledge of the subject
School support:
· You will be supported by the school within the SEN Department by the SENCO, HLTAs, Pastoral Staff, Class Teachers, and parents
· The school will provide specific information about each child in advance to enable effective support.
· Resources and strategies to support learners, behaviour management training, group and 1:1 training from qualified, passionate staff will be provided.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be exposed to students of various ages and abilities. You will analyze data and build your ability to raise attainment using lesson plans and intervention tasks focused on numeracy and literacy.
Graduate teaching hours and pay:
· Full-time school hours, depending on the school
· Monday to Friday
· Paid weekly at a daily rate, with potential for a permanent position in the future.
This role can lead to a salaried teacher training position.
