Job Description
* Leading and delivering power plant integrity assessments.
* Developing risk-based inspection strategies.
* Providing technical support and advice to clients.
* Producing formal technical reports and other project deliverables on time and within budget.
* Creating proposals and tender documents, and developing new business.
* Mentoring and developing less experienced integrity engineers.
* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of standards, legislation, and best practices.
The role involves site visits within the UK and abroad to meet project requirements.
The candidates should have experience in:
* Integrity assessment of defective power plant components (low and high temperature, reverse code calculation, fracture mechanics, finite element analysis).
* Legislative compliance, including UK PSSR.
* Power plant inspection (steam and water pressure parts, boiler tube surveys, support surveys), with knowledge of materials selection, damage mechanisms, and life assessment.
* Power plant mechanical engineering.
* Power plant operations and maintenance.
