Hall Orchard CE Primary School is seeking a reliable and conscientious Cleaner with Key Holder responsibilities to join our site team. This important role involves ensuring our school environment is clean, safe, and welcoming for pupils, staff and visitors, as well as being responsible for securing the site at the end of each day.
Working during term time with an additional two weeks during school holidays (for deep cleaning and maintenance), this is a great opportunity to be part of a vibrant and supportive school community.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, and other school areas to a high standard
2. Locking and securing the school premises at the end of each day
3. Carrying out daily checks and reporting any issues to the Site Manager
4. Working within health and safety guidelines at all times

What We’re Looking For:
5. A trustworthy and responsible individual with good attention to detail
6. Experience in cleaning (preferred but not essential – training will be provided)
7. Someone who is punctual, hardworking and takes pride in their work
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
9. Willingness to undergo a DBS check as part of our safer recruitment process
