Strathcarron Hospice exists to enable people with life limiting illness across Forth Valley, Cumbernauld and Kilsyth to live and die well, with specialist care and support that reflect what matters most to them. We are looking for an exceptional nurse leader to help shape and lead our community services as we continue to grow, innovate, and meet the changing needs of the people we serve.
About The Role
As Lead Nurse for Hospice Community Services, you will:
1. Provide strategic, operational and clinical leadership across our community-based services, including Community CNS team, Hospice@Home and Live Your Life teams.
2. Shape and strengthen Hospice community services to deliver Strathcarrons vision and strategy ensuring services remain responsive and fit for purpose in an ever- changing environment.
3. Build strong partnerships with health, social care and third sector organisations to ensure people receive accessible, seamless care and support.
4. Contribute as a key member of the Clinical Leadership Team, driving service development in collaboration with the Hospices multi-professional colleagues.
5. Represent Strathcarron locally and regionally, influencing how specialist palliative care is delivered across our communities.
About You
We are looking for a palliative care leader who is:
6. A Registered Nurse (Adult) with substantial experience in specialist palliative and end-of-life care.
7. Confident in leading and inspiring clinical teams in community settings.
8. Passionate about nurturing growth in others, strengthening multidisciplinary working and focusing on what matters to the people we support.
9. Skilled at achieving strategic goals using robust methodologies, data informed decision-making, and effective change leadership.
10. Educated to Masters level with evidence of leadership development.
11. Committed to the ethos, mission and values of Strathcarron Hospice.
The post is subject to a check by the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme.
