Job Title: Health Care Assistant Location: Lambeth Salary: £13.10 Hours: 20 hours per week (10:00am–2:00pm, Monday to Friday) Contract: Temporary to ongoing Our client is seeking experienced and compassionate Health Care Assistants to provide essential support at one of their Campus. This position will suit individuals with prior healthcare or support experience, particularly those comfortable with complex medical and personal care tasks. Key Responsibilities: * Provide safe and effective trachea care, ensuring equipment is maintained and procedures are carried out to clinical standards. * Administer and record medications in line with prescribed plans and organisational policy. * Deliver personal care with dignity and respect, supporting individuals with washing, dressing, and other daily living needs. * Assist with gastrostomy (gastro) feeds, maintaining hygiene and monitoring for any concerns. * Observe and report changes in service users’ wellbeing to senior staff. * Maintain accurate and confidential records of care provided. * Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team, promoting a supportive and safe environment for all service users. * Adhere to safeguarding, infection control, and health and safety protocols at all times. Requirements: * Must have up-to-date training and hands-on experience in tracheostomy care, medication administration, personal care, and gastro feeds * Previous experience in a healthcare or support setting is essential. * Enhanced Child & Adult Enhanced DBS required * Compassionate, patient and professional approach to care.
