We're looking for an experienced Events Supervisor to join our Central Venues team, based at the iconic M Shed in Bristol. This is a hands-on role where you'll be the sole representative of the site to clients, ensuring every event runs smoothly from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage events on-site, acting as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders
* Supervise and motivate teams of up to 15 staff across various departments
* Champion Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) practices, ensuring compliance and promoting a safe working culture
* Coordinate with other venues and departments to support multi-site operations
* Maintain the highest standards of service and presentation, driving a culture of excellence
* Adapt to flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules
About You:
* Proven experience in a similar supervisory role within events or hospitality
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* A proactive approach and a drive for perfection
* Passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences
* Ability to work independently and confidently represent the venue
