Shipping Coordinator
Job Location: Fareham, Hampshire
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 7.00am - 15.30pm & Friday 7.00am - 12 noon

We are currently recruiting for a Shipping Coordinator on a permanent basis with a highly respected and long-established Aerospace manufacturer. With a proud heritage spanning over 100 years, this organisation has continued to grow year on year and is now globally recognised for the design and manufacture of high-quality aerospace components and parts.

Responsibilities
* Processing export shipping documentation, including Letters of Credit and Export Licences
* Arranging shipments through freight forwarders in line with HM Revenue & Customs regulations and customer requirements
* Preparing quality documentation for the release of goods in accordance with CAA, FAA, and EASA regulations
* Maintaining accurate export transaction files, logs, and UK export licence records for audit and compliance purposes
* Liaising with Customer Support and Customer Account Administrators to review customer purchase orders and confirm export and shipping requirements in line with UK and international regulations
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a shipping or export coordination role
* Knowledge of Incoterms and aerospace compliance requirements
* Aerospace industry experience within a shipping function (desirable)
* Experience using SAP within a manufacturing environment (desirable)mli>
* Familiarity with customer portals

* Strong organisational skills and the ability to follow detailed procedures
