Location: Gatwick Airport Hours: Monday–Friday 7:30am–5:00pm (flexibility for night shifts 7:30pm–5:00am + overtime) The Role We are seeking an experienced Smart Building Infrastructure Technician to join a dedicated team at Gatwick Airport. You will be responsible for the installation, testing, maintenance, and support of smart building technologies across the airport estate. This role requires strong experience in copper and fibre ICT infrastructure, alongside a willingness to work across multiple technologies including Electronic Security, Audio-Visual, IoT, and Wired/Wireless Networks. You will play a key role in delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget, maintaining the highest standards of technical excellence and customer service. Key Responsibilities ICT & Network Infrastructure * Install, terminate, and test copper cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A), fibre optic cabling (OS1/2, OM3/4/5) and voice cabling (CW1308). * Install and test cabling for Electronic Security and Audio-Visual systems. * Conduct certification testing using Fluke test equipment and LinkWare software. * Ensure compliance with manufacturer, customer, and industry standards (e.g., BSEN 50346).
