An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a motivated Senior Support Worker to work in an exceptional home based in the Woodbridge, Suffolk area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading healthcare providers.
About the Role
The Senior Support Worker will support residents in daily activities, medication administration, care planning and family communication. The role requires compassion, dedication and an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities
* Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents
* Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals
* Contribute to care planning and coach support workers
* Promote services to relatives, prospective residents and enquiries
* Update and write care plans and resident documentation
* Make realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care
* Administer medication to residents in accordance with policies and procedures
Qualifications & Skills
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
* Proven experience working in a care setting
* A good team player
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* A genuine desire to care for others

Salary: £14.00 per hour, £26,208 per annum. Permanent vacancies for days and nights available.
