What You’ll Do: Be the right hand to the Director of HR Governance, leading the charge on frameworks, policies, and compliance. Partner with HR leaders and Risk teams to manage controls, audits, and regulatory deliverables. Own the HR vendor governance program and onboarding due diligence. Keep us ahead of the curve on employment law, risk trends, and best practices. Champion a risk-aware culture and deliver engaging governance training across HR. Roll up your sleeves - this role blends strategic influence with hands-on execution. Build strong partnerships with the HR team and other business area team members to align HR governance with overall business strategies. Support the onboarding of new HR team members to ensure there is an understanding of HR governance and risk culture What You Bring: Proven experience in HR Governance, Risk, or 1LOD in a regulated industry. Deep knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and compliance frameworks. Sharp analytical skills and a data-driven mindset. Proven expertise in a Financial Services environment with proven tenure across your profile. Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels. High integrity, attention to detail, and a proactive, curious mindset. Comfortable juggling strategic projects and admin tasks alike.
