Responsibilities
* Take ownership of arboricultural surveys and consultancy work across a diverse portfolio of projects, including infrastructure, utilities, and planning‑led developments.
* Conduct BS5837:2012 surveys for planning and development.
* Perform Visual Tree Assessments (VTA) and condition inspections.
* Write technical reports and provide arboricultural recommendations.
* Provide tree protection advice during construction projects.
* Supervise arboricultural works on site.
* Liaise with clients, engineers, planners, and contractors.
* Contribute to infrastructure schemes and environmental constraints.
* Make field decisions and technical recommendations that directly shape development outcomes.

Qualifications
* Proven experience in arboricultural consultancy/surveying.
* NVQ Level 4 (or equivalent/higher) in Arboriculture & Forestry.
* LANTRA Professional Tree Inspection qualification.
* Strong experience in BS5837:2012 surveys and development work.
* Proven ability in Visual Tree Assessment (VTA).
* Excellent technical report writing skills.
* Full UK driving licence (clean).
* CSCS and/or ROLO certification.
* Strong IT skills including tree/survey software.
* Solid understanding of tree works and specifications.
* Ability to manage workload and projects independently.
