This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Engineer to join a growing offshore and subsea services organisation, working on complex projects across cable lay, trenching, and subsea operations. The Role As a Project Engineer, you'll provide support across the full lifecycle of offshore projects - from tendering and mobilisation to live operations and final reporting. You'll play a key role in technical document preparation, equipment sourcing, and operational support, while also spending time offshore or on client sites as required. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a varied role, enjoys problem-solving under pressure, and wants to build strong technical and client-facing experience within the subsea and offshore sector. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare technical project documentation (procedures, task plans, RAMS, HIRAs). - Compile and manage project equipment lists, sourcing equipment and consumables as required. - Support logistics, mobilisation, and HMRC paperwork for offshore operations. - Provide on-site engineering support during offshore operations (e.g., cable/pipe lay, trenching). - Ensure accurate compilation of As-Built documentation post-project. - Contribute to cost and time savings through efficient planning and execution. We're looking for a motivated engineer who brings: - A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Marine, or related engineering discipline (or equivalent experience). - Project engineering experience within offshore, subsea, renewables, or marine sectors. - Exposure to offshore operations (cable/pipe lay, trenching preferred). - Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage documentation and multiple deliverables. - Excellent communication skills, comfortable engaging with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. - OPITO certification and offshore medical (or equivalent, e.g., GWO) desirable. - A project management qualification would be advantageous.
