About the Position
Part-time Seasonal Operator at the ADM Grain Elevator in Maidstone, Ontario.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Dump and load trucks and railcars
2. Operate a grain dryer
3. Assist with grain handling including shipping and receiving of grain commodities, grading procedures & bin cleanout procedures
4. General housekeeping duties
5. General maintenance, as needed
6. All other duties required
Required Skills and Qualifications
7. Computer literacy is a bonus
8. Proactive and results oriented
9. Highly organized
10. Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in team setting when needed
Education or Work Experience
11. High school education or equivalent
Additional Information
12. History of working safely and a reputation for promoting and getting involved in safety improvement efforts
13. Work in accordance with local/provincial legislation
14. Understands and is accountable for full compliance with safety and other EHS requirements
15. Exhibit regular and prompt attendance
16. Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc)
17. All candidates must have authorization and the ability to maintain authorization to legally work in Canada.
18. Relocation support is not available for this position.
