About the Role
We’re seeking a dynamic HR Solutions Analyst – Workday to bridge HR expertise with technology‑driven solutions. This role requires a combination of hands‑on HR experience across all areas of HR (recruitment, performance management, compensation, benefits, and employee lifecycle management), business analysis, and Workday system optimization. You’ll partner with HR teams, IT and business stakeholders to enhance, optimise processes in and out of Workday, and deliver impactful HR technology projects from kickoff to implementation. What You’ll Do – Key Responsibilities:
* Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with HR teams to prioritise business needs, understand current HR processes, identify pain points and determine how Workday can best address them.
* System Design and Configuration: Design and configure Workday modules (e.g., Core HCM, Talent Management, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits) to align with business needs, including creating custom workflows, fields, and reports.
* Implementation Support: Lead the implementation process, including data migration, testing, user training, and change management activities.
* System Maintenance: Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and address user queries related to Workday functionality.
* Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimise HR processes within Workday or with a Workday solution in mind, proposing and implementing system enhancements to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
* Reporting and Analytics: Develop and maintain customised reports and dashboards within Workday to provide actionable insights for HR leadership.
* Project Management: Lead small‑to‑medium‑sized projects with a Workday solution in mind, managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations. Projects should always have a Workday solution.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Workday Expertise: Knowledge of Workday HCM modules and functionalities, including configuration options and best practices.
* HR Domain Knowledge: Understanding of core HR concepts like recruitment, performance management, compensation, benefits, and employee lifecycle management.
* Business Analysis Skills: Strong ability to gather and analyse business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and document detailed process flows.
* Project Management Skills: Ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects with defined timelines and milestones from kickoff to implementation.
* Technical Skills: Familiarity with data manipulation, reporting tools, and basic understanding of system integrations.
* Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders, including HR leadership, technical teams, and end‑users.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
* 2+ years of experience in Workday, preferably in a project manager or BSA role
* Strong knowledge of Workday modules, HR processes, and data workflows
* Proven experience leading cross‑functional projects with a focus on HRIS or enterprise systems
* Ability to translate business requirements into technical specs and actionable plans
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* PMP, CBAP, or Workday certifications are a plus

Additional Information:
* This full‑time exempt position will be based at the Service Center in San Juan Capistrano, California. This position offers a hybrid work option after a 90‑day probationary period (not fully remote).
* Salary: $80,000‑130,000/annual DOE; may be eligible for bonus.
