About the Role
Quality Assurance Night Pharmacist – Northampton
Opportunity: Are you a Pharmacist registered with the GPhC? Have you released drugs to prescriptions and have good quality assurance experience? Want to work for a global pharmaceutical company? If yes, then please read on.
Your role as a Quality Assurance Night Pharmacist based in Northampton will involve releasing drugs to prescriptions and physically checking all drug orders released to patients. This is a night-based role working Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 pm to 6:00 am, with weekly shift allowance.
You will ensure that pharmacy dispensing processes comply with GPhC standards, SOPs, GDP, and ISO standards. You will act as the Responsible Pharmacist when required, ensuring drugs and prescriptions meet quality standards. This is a full-time permanent role with a salary between £50,000 and £59,792.84 per annum, along with benefits including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, an 8% pension, life assurance, income protection, share options, and a 5% annual bonus.
Responsibilities
1. Releasing drugs to prescriptions.
2. Physically checking drug orders.
3. Ensuring compliance with GPhC and ISO standards.
4. Acting as Responsible Pharmacist when required.
Skills and Qualifications
* Pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
* Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.
