As a Tenancy Sustainment Advisor, you’ll play a key role in helping tenants maintain their independence and thrive in their homes. This is a full time role, working Monday-Friday 37 hrs A company van is included as this role is mobile working in various locations such as Ipswich, Colchester, Essex and surrounding areas What you’ll be doing: Proactively supporting tenants to sustain their tenancies and reduce tenancy breakdowns. Managing your own caseload, prioritising based on risk and need. Building strong relationships with tenants, understanding their needs, and empowering them to take positive action. Communicating through various channels, including face-to-face home visits. Collaborating with internal teams and referring tenants to external agencies for additional support. Supporting the Housing Manager in delivering our vision: Housing Made Simple. What we’re looking for: Excellent communication and listening skills. Ability to empower and influence positive behavioural change. Strong relationship-building skills with tenants and colleagues. Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload. Knowledge of welfare benefits, income maximisation, and energy advice. Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, or qualified by experience. Full UK driving licence.
