We work to promote independence and sign post service users to Partnership teams to provide care and support in a person-centred way.The post will require flexible working. This will include regular morning, evening and weekend shifts, as well as the ability and willingness to travel across the team geographical area. The Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.About youYou will need to have previous experience of working within a care environment, preferably within Adult social care and you will have an NVQ Level 2 Care qualification or equivalent and a willingness to work towards Level 3.You will be able to evidence good standard of general education including basic literacy and numeracy skills and will have good IT skills in order to be able to update electronic data and case records.The role involves travel across Cambridgeshire, using CCC pool vehicles which are manual drive so you will need to have a full driving licence applicable to manual vehicles.The posts we have available are for 18.25 and 21.25 hours per week - based at in Cambourne.The hours advertised are for a set rota which includes morning, evening and weekend shifts and working every other weekend and we are therefore unable to accommodate specific days of availability.
