This site operates high-speed packaging machinery and is focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence. Role Overview: This is a hands-on engineering role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, enjoys solving process-related issues, and is keen to take ownership of improvements. You'll be the 7th engineer joining an existing team of six, working a 4-on/4-off days-only shift pattern, with some flexibility expected. Key Responsibilities of this Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Role: Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a range of modern packaging machinery. Diagnose and resolve process issues especially those affecting packaging accuracy, throughput, or equipment reliability. Investigate faults such as misfeeds, jams, product misalignment, or packaging defects (e.g., twisted pallets, missing items). Implement modifications and improvements to reduce downtime and boost efficiency. Work closely with the team to maintain engineering standards and ensure high operational uptime.
