About The Role
Conduct research integrating drone-based imaging, multispectral data analysis, phenotyping techniques, and digital twins to transform tea agriculture practices.
Join the BBSRC Business & Academia Prosperity Partnership between Cranfield University and LIPTON Teas and Infusions.
The project focuses on digital agriculture, crop modeling, and molecular breeding to enhance the resilience and sustainability of East African tea crops.
Opportunity to visit data collection sites across the tea‑growing regions of Kenya.
About You
Doctoral level education in remote sensing, agricultural engineering, geospatial science, or a closely related field.
Experience in drone-based data collection and crop physiology preferred.
Excellent communication skills; ability to work with stakeholders across academia and industry.
Track record of producing high-quality reports and peer‑reviewed manuscripts.
