The primary role of the Technical Sales Engineer is to drive business growth by actively engaging with both new and existing clients, utilising strategies such as networking, cold calling, and other innovative methods to generate interest. The Technical Sales Manager/Engineer must craft compelling approaches and pitches that persuade potential clients to partner with the company.
Building and nurturing strong relationships with new clients is essential, setting sales targets and providing ongoing support to ensure Semco Maritime is their preferred choice for solutions and services. Additionally, they are responsible for expanding and maintaining existing accounts by introducing new solutions and services. As a Technical Sales Engineer you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing potential new clients to grow business opportunities.
Maintain a strong pipeline of Electrical / Systems / Instrument & High Voltage prospects.
Conduct outreach to new and existing contacts.
Coordinate meetings between client decision-makers and company project managers and PICs.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Sales, Business, or a related field. Proven experience in technical sales or a similar role, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events
