CNC Turner – Programmer/Setter/Operator
Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire
Hours: Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 5:00pm
Hourly Rate: £18.95 per hour (£36,952 per annum)
Duration: Permanent

Our fantastic client based in Ely is on the hunt for a talented CNC Turner to join their team! If you're a whiz at programming, setting, and running twin-spindle, driven tool lathes – and know your way around Fanuc controls like a pro – we want to hear from you.
You’ll need top-tier turning skills and a solid understanding of milling strategies to shine in this role. Think precision, performance, and passion for machining.

Job Duties:
* Program, set and run their twin-spindle, driven tool lathes
* Using a Fanuc based control system
* Programming using HyperMill programming software
* Working to tight tolerances
* Quality checking work
* Working from engineering drawings
* Problem solving with the team to work on one-off projects.
What we are looking for:
* Experience using HyperMill programming software or a similar CAD/CAM system
* The ability to read engineering drawings
* Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
* Good problem-solving skills
* Apprentice trained or a high level of experience in machining.
* Comprehensive knowledge of milling strategies as well as having excellent turning capabilities.
* A good eye for detail.
