Hours; 24-30hpw ​ Contract Terms: Fixed Term until 31 st Dec 2028 Closing date: Wednesday 22 nd April 2026, 9am Are you passionate about making sure every voice is heard? We’re looking for a motivated and compassionate team member to join us as a Parent Carer & ND Project Lead. This is a fantastic opportunity to build on your experience o f working with families and grow your skills in a supportive, values-driven environment. ​ As a Parent Carer & ND Project Lead you will be passionate about co production, committed to family-led practice, and motivated to lead a team delivering impactful, meaningful work. ​ What you’ll be doing as a ​ Parent Carer & ND Project Lead ​ Leading and developing the Parent Carer and ND projects, including supervising staff and volunteers ​ Managing a caseload and providing needs led, solution focused support to families ​ Designing and delivering workshops, interventions, courses and respite activities ​ Building strong partnerships with external professionals and sharing learning with the wider Neurodevelopmental Pathway ​ Using feedback, data and project planning to drive service improvement and meet organisational outcomes ​ ​ W ho ​ we’re looking for: ​ Strong knowledge of neurodevelopmental differences and the impact of caring roles on families and a commitment to neuro-affirming practices ​ Experience supporting families and building effective partnerships with external organisations ​ Confident communicator with the ability to facilitate workshops and engage parents, children and young people ​ Proven ability to manage or develop projects and supervise staff or volunteers ​ Excellent planning, organisation, record keeping and IT skills ​ Reflective, resilient and able to work proactively within safeguarding and professional boundaries ​ We welcome applications from applicants with lived experience. ​ ​ Why Work with us ? ​ Suffolk Family Carers is a values‑driven charity supporting unpaid carers of all ages across Suffolk.
